::This morning went to Ngee Ann Poly for some biotechnological course... Had to wake up @ 6, but caught some shut-eye on the bus.. No idea it was at clementi, some distance away from Hougang... Anyway, the campus looks quite old, but theres lotsa greenry, unlike Nanyang Poly... The School of Life Sciences on the 7th floor.. There were about 20 of us, all from my school except two girls from North View.. First part was some presentation on biological weapons used by terrorist.. Anthrax etc.. But, as the lecturer said, even though anthrax is deadly, it doesn't spread efficiently... But is easily obtainable.. Then did some practical work.. Paired up with Lian Jie, had to centrifuge E. Coli bacteria, add buffer, spin spin, extract dna.. Kinda cool.. The bacteria kinda smelly, smells like dental plaque, even looks like it... Then had to test it and stuff..
When arrived back in school, its already 12.30, went for 30mins of band... Collect some scores, thats all.. Then come home eat, sleep, then here... Time really flies, before you know it the holiday are gone...
