::Just finished band practice... still in school uniform while typing this out... played through some of Akiyama... One of many practices Mr Tan printed out for us.. Jason (he's the Librarian ma...) had to carry all the printed materials... was like 5 bags of it.. nicely binded together.. "band textboook" thats what he calls it... then went through Braziliana... love the way he interprets the piece... tell us to think of a latin american guy and gal.. Flirting/Suducing each other.. haha.. 3 movements, namely "Cha Cha Cha" "Calypso" "Samba"... especially like Cha Cha Cha (love saying that, come on say it with me cha cha cha, cha cha cha, hahaa.. ) woodwind the feminine gal and brass the masuline guy.. haha.. then went through the other movements too.. he a surprise for us at the end..
Guess what... Changing conductors yet again.. Mr Ng was with us for 2 years, Mr Tan with us for 2 weeks.. Mr Leng gonna be our new conductor.. WHY you ask? well, seems like Mr Tan can't drop any of his current bands, since we're approaching SYF... maxed out... I think my batch has seen the most conductor changes ever... 4, Mr Tay to Mr Ng to Mr Tan, now to Mr Leng.. I think we should get some kind of record for that...
