this would be my last post before the exams..
went to Esplanade there to eat.. somehow, it doesn't feel like the prestigious arts centre outside.. maybe because its a public holiday and hundreds of foreign workers taking the day off there? not that I have anything against them, unlike a classmate I know..
first time walking outside of the Esplanade, been inside numerous times, performed there twice and once as an audience.. outside its a different feeling.. if it was not so crowded, it certainly would be very romantic.. just the stunning view of the CBD skyline and the river..
ate at the Glutton's Bay, pretty much like ECP food centre or chomp chomp.. noisy, smoky, busy, very much Singaporean.. if there's one place that captures the essence of Singapore, I must say this is it, with Singapore's most famous skyline as the backdrop, it's hard to beat..

took this with my K750i.. lotsa visible noise, night scenary isn't it's forte..
then went back to school today to study.. thought of going to the national library but went to school instead.. they were at Ms Ong's homeroom, the classroom next to ours.. dunno what was going on, with Yu Bin and Edison running about.. so just took out the genetics book I borrowed to read, while they were screaming their heads off.. seems that Edi had some marble pepple thing and was attack Yu Bin, then Addison? thought with his mass, the pepples would just bounce off him?? Addy took Shaun as a shield when he arrived in the room..
after a while, everything got back to normal.. the books were out and I helped Shaun (again) with his chemistry.. eventually, they started talking about Pokèmon Cards.. miss those days when we were still in pri school.. hah.. stopped playing cards in Sec 1 I think, sorta grew out of them?
went to Hougang Mall to return the library books.. thought of eating at Delifrance (BistroDelifrance now..) the butterfish looks so nice but its kinda expensive.. maybe some other day.. tried Hans outside.. $8.50 quite reasonable for the set meal they gave.. garlic bread, soup, ice lemon tea, grilled fish, salad and to top it off, a slice of honey dew.. a complete meal, a more affordable alternative to Jack's Place, although I still prefer Jack's Place for their steaks..
so, to complete my self-indulgence, bought some ice-cream from 7-11.. spent less than $10.. not bad..
so the O levels begin next Monday.. wish me luck..::
