sorry for the lack of updates during this week.. JC's been pretty tiring..
Wednesday
2nd day of JC.. started off the morning with some outdoor games.. a modified version of captain's ball.. only the girls can score and no guys within a certain zone.. all the while been playing sports with guys, so this was something different..
then the facilitators brought us on a tour of the campus.. where what was.. then it was the mass dance again..
then had the CCA talk.. and the CCA bazaar afterwards.. deja vu? feels sorta like the open house again.. anway, signed up for a few of the CCAs I'm interested in.. namely symphonic band, film sound and video and interact club.. see how it goes..
Thursday
got spilt into our various classes today.. great knowing the people from IG 3, even though we only spent 2 days together.. got into class 1T24.. pretty much brand new faces except one.. Linda was also in my class.. hahaa.. played double wacko before going into class.. our classroom just nice near to the canteen, but disadvantage is everyone walks by..
met our home tutor, Mrs Chin.. she's not that young, probably in her 50s.. learnt more steps of the mass dance then went for a talk on JC life.. think Bro Paul has a wicked sense of humor.. caught one gal for sleeping.. "Don't try me.. I can see every single one of you.. I know.. I designed it.." had a briefing for tomorrow's outdoor activities before heading home..
Fridaywent to Kallang for our outdoor activities.. went Dragonboating first.. sorta reminded me of the first time I was here.. Sec 1 orientation camp.. man.. those were the times..
got our life-jackets.. the colours kinda "funky".. us with our bright blue pe-shirt with a bright pink life-jacket.. got into the boats.. their more of boats than dragons if you know what I mean.. dunno why, but our instructor always bring us to some corner, isolated front the other groups.. secret training maybe??
went up to some other classes to disturb them.. splash water etc.. quite fun.. then had 2 races.. came in 3rd i think.. not too bad.. started to rain when we were about to finish.. washed up and played some games before lunch.. lunch was probably one of the best packet lunch I've eaten.. the meat was nice.. there was a dog there, staring at us eating.. begging for the meat I suppose.. in the end, gave him some.. took our first class pics after that..

the number of girls to guys not that bad 8:14.. unlike one class which has 22 girls and 3 guys..
had our Amazing Race after that.. first station required a pair to bring a soccer ball using the part of our body on the piece of paper we drew.. palm and palm was the easiest.. then went across the Kallang river to the next check point.. "where King Arthur lives" a condo named Camelot.. haha.. started to drizzle after the National Stadium checkpoint when we were going to cross the Nicoll Highway..
still drizzling when we reached the checkpoint.. we were suppose to use whatever items we had and ourselves to make a chain to reach a certain point.. so the guys took off their shirts.. it was cold and wet enough there even with our shirts on.. but got the 2nd best time to complete that checkpoint..
then crossed another bridge to the next check point.. had to form guy-girl pairs again.. task here was to hold a coconut between the waists and walk to the plate with barley and tic-tacs.. using our mouths only, had to get a tic-tac from the barley.. so had to hold each other tight if not the coconut would drop..
went back to opposite the west entrance for our last checkpoint.. had to form a human chain and find some toys hidden around the area.. was a rather big army truck at the top of the scuplture.. suprised the other group didn't see it..
went back to school and had a bidding session with the points from the race.. we got a packet of wang wang, which is quite good already.. "It's white.. It's fluffy.. It's edible.. It's used at barbeques. " so the classes bid for that item.. marshmallows? no.. tissue paper.. luckily we didn't bid for it.. so Mark, the auctioner, had to eat it to prove his point.. hahaa.. but the prizes kinda low budget though.. think the morning session got all the good stuff..
stayed back till 7plus to rehearse the skit for finale night.. I had only 2 lines in the beginning, then I die in the end.. so nothing much for me.. then went out with the other skit people to eat.. maybe would bring my cam to record the skit on monday..
