::1 more day to AE!
just came back from getting the band camp photos printed.. had intensive practice aka band camp for the past 3 days..

Monday
woke up at 6 plus.. washed up and hurriedly packed my stuff for camp.. placed my belongings in the band room along with others then went for lectures.. nice lar, holidays still got lectures.. feels like a normal school day except not all the canteen stalls are open.. had maths tutorials followed by more maths.. at least that was it for lesson on mon.. then the hustle begins..
went back to Montfort to pass them the tickets and collect the ticket money.. only spent 40mins there before I had to go already.. went back home to get my other lecture materials.. only went I reached school I found out I forgot to get my sleeping bag.. argh.. and I told myself I would go back and take.. then sectionals till 4 plus and it was time for games..





Wei Jie was rubbing his eyes when I took that pic.. the right moment at the right time.. looks like he's saluting, with the "squad" behind him.. hahaa.. if not for the washed-out sky, it would have been a great pic..
anyway, the objective of the game was to relay a signal to the person infront and he/she had to run to get the object pointed.. ended up Wei Ming getting chased all over the place..


next was a wet game.. suppose to get water from the pail onto the lid and into a can to make 3 puddles.. the whole floor was wet by the time the game ended..
bathed and had band practice till late.. then Mr Tan tried something very unorthodox on my Eb.. Bb clar reed on the Eb.. damn hard to play lar, but sounds better.. quite worn out after an entire busy day.. couldn't find anybody in the classrooms, saw them on the track so went to join them for awhile.. so just lay there while they chatted.. walked one round around the track with Wee Chong just for the fun of it..
went back to the classroom but didn't really do much.. now in mixed school can't just walk into any of the classrooms.. chatted for awhile more then everyone just like dozed off one by one.. think I was one of the first to sleep..

Tuesday
another morning of lectures.. had econs then went out with the class to eat breakfast.. the carrot cake was scrumptious.. then went to PS to get some reeds.. met Yu Bin at the Times bookshop there.. so coincidental.. since the shop doesn't open until 12, caught up with him as we walked around.. he was meeting his friend for some project.. went to the MRT and guess what, met Tim there with another gal.. after all that fooling around with Yu Bin, making us walk all around, his friend finally met him.. if you ask me, I think that gal has the likes for Yu Bin... just the way she behaves around him etc..
left them 2 alone once it was noon.. wanted to get a 4 Eb reed, but they didn't have, so had to make do with 3 1/2.. got back to school, and tried out the new reed.. sounds much better now.. more sectionals and round 2 of games..

played floor-ball in the mpr.. not really organised though.. like 10 people chasing after 1 ball.. anyway, the other team won with 1 goal.. hiaz..




then had a delicious buffet dinner afterwards.. the chicken wings were nice.. had rehearsal at the hall till 11+ I think.. recorded some of the pieces down with my S2.. not that bad except for some out-of-tune parts.. pretty much it for day 2..

Wednesday
last day of the camp.. only went for maths lecture.. was half-asleep during the lecture.. never seems to be enough sleep for camps.. then had band practice till about 6.. sight read our encore piece, Music from The Incredibles.. something cj played for their concert..quite a fitting end to the concert.. loud spy-movie kinda music.. slept almost immediately once I got home..

Thurday
was suppose to have physics lecture in the morning but woke up late, so didn't go.. they were going through the test we took.. was told I did quite well, but I didn't really study for it.. hahaa.. transposed the encore piece into Eb from 1st Clar and Flute parts.. at least no more Concerto D'amore anymore.. hiaz..
went to school to have some self practice and also for photog's exco interview.. lotsa lame jokes cracked by the J2s.. "maybe we should have more activities for the J1s to interact.." "ya, why not they all stand in a line and chip at a block of ice.."
hope can get into photog's exco.. at least have something nice to put on my testimonial at the end of JC life.. since band was a let down.. but none-the-less, my passion for music and photography wouldn't change.. hiaz.. dunno why I work so hard and end up getting so little.. recognition that is.. but I love what I do..::
