::had a 3 day chalet over the last week of the holidays.. but only stayed for 2 days as Friday's our GP midyear..

Wednesday
Ji Bin's and Jill's birthdays today.. got lotsa pairs of birthday guys and girls on my list of contacts now.. hahaa.. went to Yishun to past Jill her presents... bought a Kangaroo stuff toy and a Joey postcard from Australia.. also gave her the Panoramic print I did, also from Australia.. anyway, her bf came soon after, so I made myself disappear..
took 39 to Pasir Ris and changed to 89 to Downtown.. met Gerald on the walk in, he was having another chalet simultaneously with his polymates.. paid a visit there for awhile, one of the gals there called Gerald "xiao ke ai".. hahaa..
not much people there at the chalet at first, but gradually they came in.. Lam, Guo Ping and OYL brought their laptops there, so they were playing some games.. nothing much for the first night, chatted, played cards.. Alfred was attacked as usual.. slept for awhile while they went for dinner.. stayed up till morning, so went out with Bernard to catch the sunrise..

Thursday
set out at about 5.45, while the rest where sleeping.. went to the mac there to get something to eat before taking 89 to changi beach.. first time seeing 89 so crowded, usually there's not much people onboard.. wonder why so many people getting to the airport this early for..


was quite cloudy at the start, but the clouds cleared when the first rays of the sun came out.. Bernard borrowed my phone to take some pics while taking some of his own.. went to the other side of the beach to get a better view..


treated to this view of the sun over the water..the sun was a fiery red ball, but the clouds impaired most of it.. went back to downtown, Bernard bought some breakfast for the rest while I got a caramel frappacino for myself..
Lam brought his F55 SLR cam for his project.. something to do with people I think.. was dead tired after staying awake the whole night, so slept till 3 plus.. the rest went to Escape since they had some free tickets.. even if I still had energy left, I wouldn't go with them to Escape.. don't think its worth it, even when its free..


started the bbq quite early.. Alfred's like wearing the same thing for every bbq, the class tee with a towel.. like his trademark for bbqs already..

went the the beach for awhile.. met Kevin on my way out there.. long time since we last met..


did a simple macro with a seashell on the beach.. then went back to get my stuff.. Dave was there suprisingly.. took some group photos first.. OYL asked the neighbouring lady to help him with his cam. kinda pity her as she had to back up till the wall and still had to ask us to squeeze in order to frame to shot.. here's when my wide-angled S80 comes into play..


brought the pod along, so only had to place it on a table a few metres infront of us to get the shot.. and there's still quite alot of space at the sides..

Friday
woke up quite early today.. started to rain just as the sun rose.. GP was ok.. think I'll score more for the essay then the compre part.. anyway, the rest of the papers are next week and I haven' really studied yet..
went to eat with the rest of the class after the paper.. dunno why, but feel kinda akward when around Michelle.. can't stand gals that just chat away like nobody's business, where the ratio between words spoken can be 100:1.. and then there's the other extreme.. just find it hard to continue a conversation, there's always this akward silence inbetween..
then went to Bishan with Simon, Anige and Ji Bin.. went to J8 to walk around for awhile before joining them at the CC.. studied abit, but slept for the rest of the hour there.. a nice place to study, also a great place to bring a laptop and just do work there.. went back home to catch more Zzs..::
