::the main part of the mid-year exams are over and we have a break before the last paper, econs.. maths was horrible.. probably the worst I've ever done in a maths exam.. very ill-prepared for it to say the least.. then had chinese next, probably would be the first time in a long time since my chinese being better than my maths.. and thats not a good thing.. chem was ok, prob the subject I've most confidence in.. physics was not as ok as chem but still better than maths..
then a small class outing to Pasir Ris park after physics paper.. went back home to grab my S2 and xaphoon aka pocket sax.. took 88 to pasir ris and walked in to the park.. thought they would be there by now, but turns out they were still at the interchange.. so went to find a place to sit for awhile.. played some songs of the top of my head and some impromtu stuff.. even if I had my own clarinet I probably wouldn't bring it out to the park.. though its much versatile, has a purer sound, a wider range than the primative xaphoon, it cost like 50 times more.. and the slightest rain would destroy it, whereas nothing much would happen to the plastic xaphoon, probably just need to get another reed..
anyway, they came at about 1.. then went to the playground to play..


Tiat Ming was quite scared to climb the space-net thing.. just find him very materialistic, kept saying "Cannot, cannot, later I fall down and die.. then cannot get my Lamborghini, I must get my Lamborghini.." when can he see that the world is not just about him, chio bu and sports cars?? enough about him..
the rest of the day can be found on my class blog, so not gonna talk much about it.. Min Jun spotted some birds while we were sitting at the beach there but only managed to snap that kingfisher resting there..


stayed back with Jun An to catch the sunset.. the rest were all worn out I guess, so they headed back home.. hiaz.. should have told them it's a great way for winding down, then maybe some would stayed back with us.. took some pics there of course..




did my first vertical pano there.. the elements were all there, the sunset, the boats in the water, the palm trees, the footprints in the sand... ok, that just some seaweed washed up, but it does make a nice pattern on the sand.. actually the view was much wider, but had a ugly dark line across the sky when I stitched them together, so took away the top most pic from the photostitch.. quite a fitting end to the day, too bad the others were not there..
to me, sunrises and sunsets are quite magical.. the transition from night to day and day to night.. light over darkness and darkness over light.. the beginning of a brand new day, a fresh start with renewed energy.. the ending of a sucessful day, savouring the fruits of our labour..
just sitting there watching the sunset, thinking of all the things we've done in the day.. sorta closure for the day.. think the whole class should watch the sunset together someday, maybe during the last day of our JC life?? just sitting there, thinking of the past 2 years, the joy and laughter, the pains and sorrows.. and how far we've come and that our journey as a class would soon come to an end.. the end of our JC life as the light fades away.. departing in our separate ways..

got the inspiration for the first pic from his e-mail add.. then the rest just conjured up on the spot.. looks like some 60's 武侠小说 wu xia xiao shuo, where the special effects damn "real".. had lotsa fun generating ideas on the spot.. like what can we do next.. there's actually lots more pics than this, but I'll only show the best..
hopefully can get more people to join us next time..::
