talk about deja vu.. woke up at 3 for the same reason as the last post.. to do my econs assignment.. was suppose to get into pairs.. had someone in mind to pair up with but then was kinda busy.. guess Tiat Ming's the only person without a partner yet..
was renting the 10-22mm lens from wed to fri, but the previous person who had the lens didn't return on time, his flight was delayed or something.. Jason was kind enough to loan me the 12-24 first even though I didn't really use it.. really must thank him, even offered the 1st day free... tried mounting it on a film camera we have, just to see the view.. just wow, the widest full frame lens there is..
exchanged for the 10-22 on wed.. rushed back to school once I got the lens.. Zhi Kai and Kah Jun had already done the 360 panos for the library and some other areas.. took some still pics to supplement the panos..
the library aka the drum in ultrawide angle..
the perpective of this lens is very different from the ones we normally use.. very much wider, though not as wide as the fisheye, but its not distorted.. great for interiors where you have a limited amount of space to move in.. come to think of it, the ad for the new 28mm Lumix cameras abit exaggerated.. the 10mm end of the lens can be alittle too wide at times and I need to zoom in abit.. hahaa..
thursday the band members had to meet Mr Yeo after assembly.. was about the overseas trip we were going on.. going to Thailand from the 16-20th Dec, which just nice coincides with JC Band fest.. hiaz.. really want to participate in JC Band fest.. still remembered the first JC Band fest I watched in sec 2 I think.. seeing how much higher the standard of music is compared to sec schs and the fun they had.. had in mind participating in the JC Band fest when I got to JC.. now 3 years later, we can't go because we're overseas..
first time for me going for a band overseas trip.. there was one proposed 2 years back also to Thailand but that didn't happen.. would be quite interesting to see how both Montfort bands mix together if that trip took place.. the counterpart band suppose to be one of the best in Thailand from what I've heard..
also, if we participate in the band fest would gain more presence in the JC band scene.. frankly, I think its something we need.. more recognition.. NYJC isn't exactly the first name that comes into mind if you talk about JC Bands..
the most we can attend their performance, which is exactly the day after we arrive back in Singapore..
