maybe after the 25th of December already, by I still wanna wish all who are reading this Merry Christmas..
didn't do any special on Christmas day itself, normally would celebrate with my cousins.. but since they went overseas, no celebrations this year.. its what happened on Christmas Eve thats something to blog about..
spent Christmas Eve with my class.. met at City Hall MRT at 11am, but as usual there will be people turning up late.. then went to the Esplanade's roof top cos theres quite alot of space there and not much people.. bought gifts for each other.. Ji Bin gave me and I gave Angie.. works in a circle, so it ends up the first person gives the last.. then help each other put on Santa Clause hats also, some of the guys were quite reluctant to put it on.. anway, got everyone to put the hats on and we took a pic..

just bought Photoshop Elements 5.0, so just trying out what it can do.. though not everyone was there, some couldn't make it.. decide to kept the hats on as we went to Marina Bay.. hahaa, quite a sight.. a bunch of people wearing red and white Santa Clause hats walking around.. of course it drew some attention, but we just replied with a simple "Merry Christmas"..
something special and different from all other christmas celebrations I had before.. the true spirit of Christmas issn't about the commercial hype of presents, but its about the spirit of giving.. think we brought alot of smiles from the people that watched us go by..
now only we had matching costumes, hahaa..

just got back the roll of B&W film I shot in Bangkok.. developed into 4R pics and scanned them in myself.. actually should have asked the lab to scan it for me, cos its quite troublesome.. hahaa, but I had to pay more on top of the already expensive film processing cost..

B&W Film
bought a roll B&W film prior to the trip.. only loaded it the night before.. would incorporate the scanned pics into this post as I go along..

Friday
spent the afternoon after band prac preparing for the trip.. the larger instruments had to bubble-wrap their instruments.. we didn't have to, since a clarinet can be easily hand carried on the plane.. helped clear up the mess that was being created in the band room.. lotsa cuttings to be cleared.. Zhi Xiong was playing with his bubble-wrapped Trombone and it still works..
got a call just as practice was about to start, so went outside to talk.. somehow, he got me and other Jeremy mixed up..

Saturday
went with the bus to help them load the instruments.. arrived at slightly past 5, the rest started to arrive by 5.30.. checked all the instruments that were to be checked in, then checked in the instruments first.. I had a bigger sized luggage which all the stands were put in, think they managed to squeeze about 30+ stands in there.. plus the percussion's mallets and stuff, its pretty heavy, 49kg if I remembered.. its like weight lifting everytime that luggage needed to be moved.. Wee Chong hand carried his bass clarinet on board.. he got first class tickets cos his dad works in the airline industry I think, so he has the luxury of space for his bass..

the first frame

while waiting found out that Mr Sukit was going with us on the trip too.. hahaa.. actually kinda suspected he was going anyway, he's Thai, he's based in Singapore, he's my ex-conductor.. ok, maybe the last point wasn't so relevant..

Group Pic..
took a group pic with Mr Kwek, who came to see us off.. then went to grab a magazine to read and something to eat.. by 7 we said our goodbyes and went into the boarding area.. our flight was SQ 632 bound for Tokyo-Narita, via Bangkok.. obviously we were getting off at Bangkok.. there were quite a number of Japanese people onboard, heading home I guess..

Group 1
was in Group 1.. the groups were picked by ballot, I was the first to pick and got into the 1st group hahaa.. our group was the smallest, only had 6 of us, Eng Seng, Yang Hao, Lucius, Huai Yu, Carol and myself.. quite easy for our group leader Eng Seng to manage, the first group to gather together most of the time..
didn't have to wait too long for the gate to open.. only waited in the waiting area for 5 mins before they announced the plane's ready for boarding.. was sitting at 55A, a window seat.. kept wondering who 55B was, Hui Shan was 55C.. so who's sitting inbetween us.. turns out to be Gloria..

on the plane..
the flight itself wasn't very long.. 2 hours at most.. watched an episode of House onboard, only to be cut abruptly when we were descending.. food onboard was ok.. Wee Chong's probably enjoyed himself during the flight, he was the only passenger in first class he told us.. at least he didn't have to deal with the less spacious economy seats.. looking forward to the new economy seats SIA advertised about..
touched down at Suvarnabhumi Airport at about 10pm, Thailand time.. the new airport's quite nice, better than the old one I remembered 6 years ago.. its quite minimalistic in design, as in its just concrete and glass..

Christmas Tree..
there was a giant lighted Christmas Tree on the way to the coaches.. only managed to snap this shot before we boarded the coach.. the ride there was about 1.5hrs, was quite high once we arrived.. all the new sights and sounds, so didn't really sleep onboard.. arrived at Royal City Hotel after 12 I think.. unloaded all the instruments and luggage, and got our keys.. was sharing a room with Jia Heng and Yong De, our 2 trumpet guys.. they also brought along their cornets, so each of us had 2 instruments to look after..

instrument problems..
Shao Ming had a little problem with his baritone sax, seems like the luggage handlers didn't handle it well enough.. there was a slight dent at the lower tone hole, causing a leak.. all the low notes couldn't be played..
quite alot of stuff happening on the first night..

Sunday
woke up quite early.. 6.30 I think, and the sun is already up.. sometimes I wonder why Thailand and Singapore have different times.. I mean if you do the split the globe into 24 sections thing, the 2 countries would be in the same section..
went down for breakfast at their Garden Cafe, reminiscence of band dinner.. then loaded up our instruments and head for Wat Suthiwaratham High School..
they were playing some pieces as we went in.. then did a short exchange/performance were we performed a few pieces and they performed a few piece.. their clarinet section was quite good, its the clarinet section sound, not just a bunch of clarinets sound.. then had sectionals after that.. mostly played by example since speaking might not get the message through that clearly..

had some games then took a group pic before we left..
suppose to do a reflection on the music side of the trip so might as well type it out here now..

One of my impressions of the other band was, they play together. Not only musically together but also when it comes to fun time. Maybe its because it a boys school, and they all share somesort of a brotherly bond. But I think the deeper reason behind, is because of music. I can see them enjoying themselves while playing the music, they understand each other and move together. A learing point I got from this exchange was the use of air support on the high and soft notes on my Eb Clarinet. Sometimes I feel there's not enough support from the bass instruments, I try to play softer to keep the balance and as a result don't use much air support.During the workshops at Silpakorn University, our clarinet tutor went through the fundamentals, long tone, fingerings, tongueing etc. Again air support was emphasised. While working on tongueing, he pointed out some people who were too long, as a result the whole section sounded mixed as everyone was not tongueing the same way. By tongueing the same way, the section sound was more defined and clear. After these two exchanges, I’ve learnt how to create a better sound and as a section, I think we are moving towards the ideal clarinet section sound.

bid our farewells as we left for lunch..
had a typical Thai meal.. of course with Tom Yam soup, didn't take much, quite spicy.. Huai Yu couldn't take spicy food, so we had an extra dish on the table.. helped her finish up also..
then went to Lumphni Park to watch a free outdoor concert.. our group both some pop-corn and drinks to share while waiting for the concert to start.. and wait we did.. was told to be there by 5, waited for half an hour then something happened, they tuned up.. more waiting, by the time its already 5.45, they played their opening piece.. William Tell Overture, which is the famous horse-galloping piece if you don't know the name..

waiting..
then it was the MCs turn to speak.. gave an intro to the orchestra in both English and Thai.. more talking and its time for us to gather and meet already.. nice, came to hear them talk..
our tour-guide took us to the night bazaar opposite..

Suan-Lum Night Bazaar..
there was a giant ferris wheel near where we entered.. wanted to sit on that, but the rest of my group didn't want to.. walked around the maze-like shops, quite a number of stuff on sale.. but was quite ex.. bought a handmade photo album.. quite retro, the pages were made of those selfmade paper, where you have to press the paper etc..
had Tom Yum for dinner again, but this time had more dishes.. the hotel was nearby, so it was a quick drive to the hotel..

Monday
spent the entire day doing music.. went to a gem gallery before heading for Silpakorn University.. Gloria met one of her friends there, just as we entered.. went for a slideshow presentation on gems, then to the gallery.. bought something for Chuan Xin and Li En.. then coincidentally met Sean there also.. he was there with his family on holiday, and we just happen to be at the same place at the same time..
not much pics from this day, hardly had any breaks.. it wasn't a big sprawling campus like NUS or NTU, only had a couple of buildings and thats it.. sight-read 2 pieces, Music from The Gladiator and Miss Saigon.. Miss Saigon was nice, very much like a broadway piece of music.. too bad we didn't manage to go through the whole piece..

Mr Dumrih with the band..
obviously I can't be the one who took this pic if I am in the pic.. one of the faculty members helped us to take some pics while we were there and burnt into a CD for us.. think they forgot to leave out the other school which came before us.. practiced Safari and Sinfonia till dinner time..
had dinner with the faculty members, they only had 2 other clarinettist.. the trumpets had lots more people.. 12 all together at last count, and 12 trumpets aren't soft..
then had some sectionals after dinner.. combined for another time before calling it a day..

Tuesday
checked out of our hotel cos we were moving to another hotel for the last night.. went to the floating market in the morning.. quite a long ride there, so watched Tom Yum Goong.. quite violent considering the fighting style involved.. you hear the sound of bone cracking, and not in a good way..
think I visited this floating market before.. seems very familar, a person taking photographs while you are on the boat, then later makes it into a plate.. think I bought one 6 years back..

the ride there was fast and furious.. noisy and loud also, any louder you'll probably think the person installed a jet engine on the boat.. the wake created behind was quite amazing too.. just held my hand outside the boat and my whole hand was wet..
sat in the middle together with Eng Seng.. a stategic position cos we could rock the boat from side to side.. hahaa..

took a couple of shots there in B&W.. film just seems so at home here.. where technology hasn't fully caught up yet.. the rest were buying some wood pencils, think they're clearing stock, bought alot of pencils so that the price would be lower.. those thick pencils made with unfinished wood, with the bark still on..
ate some food there, which I shouldn't after what happened.. bought the coconut pancake, quite nice and tasty.. then Mr Neo also bought some banana fritters for everyone.. then went to the handicraft centre.. dunno whether its the same one I visited before.. had really nice wood carvings that must have taken years to carve..
had a slight stomachache by the time we got to have lunch.. didn't really eat much.. they had a special "volcano" dish, which was bbq prawns.. Carol and Lucius had a great time eating all the seafood, esp the fish heads for Lucius..

the damage..
went to the university next for day 2 of our workshops.. didn't eat the packaged dinner at the uni, wasn't feeling all too well.. felt slightly better after throwing up.. had masterclasses with our respective tutors

did mostly the basics.. long tone, fingerings, tongueing and all 3 combined.. the tongueing part learnt something new, not exactly new, but learnt something.. if we wanna play short, all must play short, cos if one person plays a note slightly longer than the rest, it'll sound long.. got a better idea of how a clarinet section should sound like after the session.. there was some jazz music going on downstairs which sounded real good, groovy..
then had a combined session together for the last time.. worked more on Sinfonia, which sounded much better now..

took a last group pic together before we left..
went to D'Ma Pavillion Hotel for our last night.. slightly better than Royal City, but then.. my room has no view!! its blocked by the neighbouring hotel.. almost just a flat concrete facade facing us.. wasn't feeling too well, threw up after eating the pills.. Mr Neo came to give me some charcoal tablets.. so went to bed early, woke up a couple of times to throw up.. threw up the charcoal, so my vomit was black in colour, kinda gross.. rather have it normal coloured.. heard they had lotsa fun during the last night, going to other people's room, playing etc..
was OK by the next morning..

Wednesday
basically the free and easy day for us.. woke up as if nothing happened the night before.. only thing was I was feeling hungry.. had breakfast and we were on our way to MBK.. the 2 gals from our group went with some other gals to shop, so us 4 guys walked around for awhile.. bought 3 shirts for myself, including a long sleeved one which I thought was nice..
Stacey and Yi Fang joined us sometime later..

went to Swensens to eat ice-cream.. order Ebony & Ivory, which is the tall glass you see in the pic above.. and it only cost 115 baht, which is slightly over $4.. a steal compared to the ones in Sg.. just looking at the pic (even though its B&W) makes me crave for ice-cream now.. macadania ice-cream with caramel and fudge brownie bits.. yumm..
still on sweet stuff, guess what we spotted in one of the shops..

a giant lollipop..
enough to last a few weeks I reckon.. and at 470 baht, thats alot of sugar.. actually thought of buying it, but thought twice and decided its not worth spending so much on candy.. imagine taking that out in public and licking it.. all the little kids would be swarming to you asking you for a lick.. every little kids fantasy, a giant lollipop.. could double as a self-defence weapon too, the head of the lollipop's quite heavy and hard..
by 3 we had to depart for the airport already.. took some pics at the airport..

the clarinet section..
our flight was SQ 625, which was stopping over at Bangkok from Tokyo.. sat at 56D this time, an aisle seat.. sat with Yong De and Joanne on the next seat.. then found out that my entertainment system couldn't play videos, so did Shi Chie who was across the aisle.. could only play games, so played battleship with him.. won both games we played.. hahaa.. played checkers with the com and some connect 4 game..
touched down at around 10 plus, only came out of the gates at 11plus..
leave you with this last frame that I shot..

the last frame..

was suppose to update this post before I left for Bangkok, but didn't complete it on time.. anyway here it is now..

shot a roll of film I bought some time ago over the past week.. sent to the lab for processing and got the scanned pics back.. getting the processed pics back is like opening a christmas present.. would only be uploading some of the better ones from the 36..

the other passenger..
took this while on my way to school on 109.. I sometimes think this bus service was exclusively introduced for me.. cos there's usually not much people taking this bus, you could probably count the number of passengers on your hands, and it was just nice introduced after 2nd intake.. conveniently it was became the most direct bus for me..

5.45am in Hougang..
slept in the afternoon on thurs, so decided to shoot some pics since I was up.. the early morning feel was in the air.. haven't explored the neighbourhood so early in the morning, so this was pretty new to me.. the coffeeshops were busy, with people having their breakfast, mostly the older generation..

then went to finish off the roll with some nightscapes.. quite challenging to compose with a railing blocking the viewfinder and you can't just shoot one frame and instantly look at whether its correct or not..

quite alot of stuff to do as we prepare for the Thailand trip.. bought bubble wrap on Mon, which came in a huge roll.. met up with Timothy to get back the cams, he just got his licence and he already has a car.. rich lor... went back to the darkroom to charge the batts etc.. then realise I had that roll of film I bought some time ago.. loaded it into the 300, quite a different feel to it.. the main thing is the bigger mirror and viewfinder.. first time using film in more than 5 years.. hopefully the pics turn out better this time..
went to pass the LTC and D&D pics.. Mr Neo bought some new accessories, the cable releases for the 2 cams, plus the Tamron 90mm Macro lens which finally came..

my first exposure to macro photography.. basically, a macro lens allows you to focus extreme close, projecting a life-sized image unto the sensor/film.. you can fill the frame with a subject around 2 cm in size.. and of course with your subject distance so close, the DoF is extremely shallow.. in the millimetres region, really need to stop down the lens in order to get more of your subject in focus..
then went to eat, spent some time trying to accomodate Xue Qi.. cos she's vegetarian.. tried to take some food shots but not really successful.. 90mm abit too long for food shots, need to move the cam back inorder to frame nicely..
anyway, went to SBG to try out this lens.. took 105 as usual, alighted one stop too early.. some excercise never hurts..

walking around in the mid-day sun ain't exactly fun.. even though there was some cloud cover, its still quite hot.. had alot of missed shots, mainly cos the wind was blowing.. causing the flower to move and be blurred.. this is were every mm counts.. and autofocusing in the macro range is as good as useless.. so went manual.. had to call it a day as there was hints of rain..
had some time to kill, so took 75 to Marina.. nothing much, walked around, then took 56 to Toa Payoh.. collected the prints from the Band Dinner which the percussion wanted.. then went to eat at MOS.. then 159 home, met someone new onboard.. Yuxi's friend Tracy, most of the time I meet old friends coincidentally outside.. this is the first I'm meeting someone new.. she lived quite near the school, so she dropped off first..
a long day of bus rides..

one of those few post where there's stuff to blog about, but not much pics..
still had that sorethroat on Tuesday, though its almost OK by now.. it was the J2s D&D, and Melissa and Veronica were covering.. went there to pass them the extra cards, lens, flash and at the same time help them out abit.. quite a major event.. showed them the bounce flash technique, but Melissa at times forgets to tilt.. Timothy bought a film cam, the EOS 3.. a pro body camera.. makes the 350D look so small, plus the viewfinder so much larger.. the advantages of full frame..
it was held at the Fullerton Hotel, which is grand to say the least.. makes the band dinner look like a small fry.. of course, this a big budget school event, I wouldn't expect less either.. only know a few J2s there, mostly those who were facilitators at the LTC.. but don't think they know me..
everyone was looking quite good, in gowns and suits.. there's even one guy who came in a tux, with a tophat.. looked more like the Darlie man to me.. there were also lots of nice buns at the D&D..

nice buns.. (what were you thinking of??)
of course, everyone's snapping away with their friends.. stayed on for awhile to shoot, took more of small details shots, the flowers, the food, the decor while the gals took the "money shots"..
some budget for this kinda events for photography would be good.. prob rent a 5D with a 24-70 lens and some studio lights to boot.. hahaa.. and sell those pics after the dinner ends.. I'm sure just about everyone wanna get a nice picture done since their wearing such nice clothes..
left just before they started eating cos not much point of me staying on, plus with the sore throat I was having, its hard to talk.. walked to Esplanade there, thought of doing some shots of my own, but Zhi Kai had my batts.. went to Marina Square to eat, then back home..
Wednesday went to Commonwealth to have our band prac.. they were having a band camp, so instead of Mr Tan going to us, we went to him.. went to the new campus, had a nice view overlooking the reservoir.. how many schools have a sea-view?? didn't really play well, he got abit pissed I think.. everyone seems to getting more unhappy these past few days..

just came back from the Christmas lighting shoot.. think I'm starting to get a sore throat.. haven't been a 100% these past few days.. was already feeling slightly feverish on Friday.. rushed to get to school to collect the $$ for the rental and also submit the pics.. so slept quite early.. couldn't really sleep that night, remembered turning around and feeling stuffy and hot.. woke up the next morning feeling rather warm and had a headache when I just woke up.. took some Panadol, wasn't feeling all too well, but had to get to school anyway.. Saturday was the tune-in and I didn't want to miss that.. tried to rest awhile in the car, was feeling slightly better, but as I said not 100%.. either the feverish-spell is getting to me, or does the band sound so much better than usual.. felt like YPSB ver. 2, with 3 rows of clarinets and the band room more crowded..

didn't wanna strain myself running all over the place for the games, so took it at a much slower pace.. also didn't really take much pics that day.. anyway, ideally we should get an intake next year quite similar to our current batch.. a healthy number for SYF and after we leave..
the briefing for the Thailand trip was after the tune-in.. didn't eat much cos most of the food they bought was quite heaty.. went though the detailed intinery for the trip.. looking forward to this trip, my first and hopefully not last band trip.. went for 2 overseas trip in pri sch, so I know how fun it can be to go on these kinda group overseas trip..
too bad Li En's not going, she misses out too much on the fun side of band, the dinner, the tune-in, the trip.. ya, she's a very accomplished clarinet and piano player and all.. but as a certain idiom goes, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link..
went home and got plenty of rest.. feeling much better after more rest.. went to play pool with my bro on sun, thats about it..

Monday, and with more work to do.. did a 2nd version of the CD cover for the LTC DVD.. the first one had only a plain background for the back.. used the star trail attempt pic for the back, works pretty well the with front.. quite stylish I would say.. afterall, its the efforts of our 4 days work.. anyone from the LTC reading this wanting to get one, just leave a tag with your e-mail..

the front..
then had to send the instruments for repair.. the woodwinds went to Accent and the brasses to Windworks.. went to Toa Payoh to have lunch first, Wee Chong met up with us and we took 157 there.. there was one more "outspoken" uncle who spoke in Hokkien about us carrying "small bag, big bag".. even though my chinese isn't that good, can understand most of the dialects spoken here in Sg.. dunno why, but there are some who have a much better grapse in chinese who can't understand Hokkien or Teochew or Cantonese.. its just like transposing Mandarin.. maybe I've been playing transposing instruments for too long.. hahaa..
got the mouthpiece pads for the new B40 mouthpieces we got, with the Optimum ligatures.. cos its metal, it produces a slightly different sound compared to a leather lig, but much much much better than the metal ones that come with the instrument.. a much cleaner sound when playing staccato..now all we need are the 56 reeds.. hahaa..
then went to get the T-Shirts and make the trip T-Shirts.. the time spent planning and designing the trip shirt was probably only a small fraction compared to the band tee.. actually had an idea for the band tee, but turns out too complicated.. a sihoulette-outline of the all instruments.. went back to the band room to put the shirts..
met Kian Hwee in the darkroom while taking out the stuff for the night shoot.. the next day (which is tomorrow) D&D, so gotta prepare that also.. had to rush to Orchard to meet up with the rest.. guess who I met just a couple of minutes of stepping out of the MRT entrance..

Jia Qing and his friends..
actually, it was more of he finding me.. doing some volunteer work selling teddybears and chocolates.. works well for couples I think, the boy doing the buying and the girl doing the recieving.. anyway, bought one from him since he met me and it was for a good cause.. if only I had someone to give to..
carried on shooting.. more of them shooting and me guiding anyway.. had a concept in mind I always wanted to try out in Orchard Road but didn't really had the chance to..

the Christmas Rush..
Orchard Road didn't seem that nicely lit up this year compared to other years.. they probably spent their budget for this year on the Deepavali cum Hari Raya cum Mid Autumn Festival light ups.. had ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's to end the outing.. brought my laptop, so viewed thought the LTC pics to select the 10 that were gonna appear on the annual..
anyway, getting late already.. Teddy Bear and Chocolates anyone?

not much time to blog considering the amount of events I have on during this "holiday".. back-tracking lotsa events..
had our first annual band dinner at the Phonix Hotel at Somerset.. on the 28th, the evening immediately after the LTC, so factor in the tiredness, waking up later syndrome.. it turns out just nice.. met the ad-hoc committee in the band room at 2 plus.. made the measurements for the intrument cases for the thailand trip and tested my printer out.. works fine, though the cropping not really perfect cos theres 2 edges you can tear off..
didn't follow the ad-hoc committee cos had to settle the rentals.. was suppose to return today, but seeing I can't, had to extend to the next day..
the theme of the dinner was Tropical, but not everyone dressed up accordingly..

the place was rather classy.. though not the impressive grand ballroom kind.. had a function room all to ourselves.. (though I think its actually only half a room) just nice fits everybody in, less roomy than I would liked.. Annie and Huan Yi were the "receptionists", they also made door-gifts for everyone too.. only took some pics while they were making it, didn't take the completed ones.. anyway, its a bookmark with string instruments.. literally string instruments, as in they used string to create the outline of the different instruments and pasted them on black boards cut to size.. complete with plastic lamination and colourful string..
Our Principal, Mr Kwek arrived early, even before some of the teachers came.. he was quite impressive and donated a extra lucky draw gift to the pile.. partly cos we were the first CCA to have such a dinner and invited him? he was also quite sporting during the whole dinner, made the effort to chat with some of the J1s and of course J2s.. he also took table shots with all the tables, which of course I had to cover.. printed them out on my portable photo printer to give as some tokens of appreciation..

of course no dinner would be complete without.. Food!! didn't manage to really eat alot, cos after my second serving it was already the speech and games portion.. Mr Kwek gave a speech first, can't really recall what was it about already.. then the teachers-in-charge, followed by Kok Wey and Wei Ming.. can see that they really prepared for their speeches..
then it was the presentation of certificates.. very nicely done, I would prouldly frame it up in my house if I recieved one.. Wei Jie was the first lucky draw winner.. well, it wasn't your ordinary lucky draw, after picking a number the "winner" has to draw some lots to determine what "prize" he/she would get.. and 2 of them were forfeits.. guess what, Wei Jie got the forfeit.. 1st isn't always lucky.. he had to catwalk across the room, which frankly wasn't even convincing.. Daryl's rendition of it was more convincing.. moved his forearm like the "fa cai mao" or good fortune cat.. one of those you moments that make you wanna bang your head against the wall..

the Uno game was more interesting.. there were randomly put numbered Uno cards under the chairs and you had to form groups totalling up to the given number, if not you are eliminated.. the easiest but least fun way to end the game is obviously to announce "1" as the number, so all the ppl holding 1s instantly win.. hahaa..
another game was the singing game, where tables had to come up with songs in a genre and sing them, the group that can't loses.. one of the genres was Singapore English Songs.. predicted that some group would sing "Di Tanjong Katong" and get eliminated cos they forgot thats a Malay song.. and I was right..

the ad-hoc..
had lotsa fun during the dinner.. enjoyed myself much more than any dinner I ever had.. other that me feeling slightly hungry again after the dinner, which is usually the case after dinners, the ad-hoc really did a wonderful job.. looking forward to next years, which the next year J1s must at least equal..
band supper anyone?
